Cool water supplied to residential and commercial buildings, residential complexes, hospitals and even villas is gradually becoming a utility supplied to customers like electricity, water and gas. Chilled water networks usually consist of shallow pre-insulated carbon steel or GRP pipes laid in open cut trenches together with associated structures like valve chambers, heat exchange chambers, air valve chambers and washout chambers, including valves and fittings. Chilled water networks are generally provided with leak detection systems connected to the Building Management System to monitor and detect any leakages for proper future maintenance.
