Energy Division
Core Business of MACE, when first established in April 1968 in Libya, was providing a vast range of construction and services to oil companies in the region encompassing all aspects of oil field development and maintenance for cross-country pipelines, flow lines, pump stations, and plant turn arounds. MACE gained an excellent reputation for comprehensive maintenance of refineries, gas plants, pipelines, housing, and office services, as well as catering to isolated areas over 500 KM into the Libyan deserts.
Having built a large fabrication shop especially tailored for oil & gas pipeline fabrication and acquired the necessary approvals and certifications, MACE is participating in the energy sector expansion planned in Qatar over the next 6 years. There is an obvious synergy interaction between the oil & gas operations and the existing divisions, especially when the Energy Division expands and creates work for the existing factory, the tunneling and de-watering divisions. The Energy Division will ultimately expand into operation & maintenance for the oil and gas services, which will create a sustainable business for the Company beyond Qatar's planned construction period of 6 to 8 years in the Energy Sector.
